Obituary of Emma Vega

Ms. Emma Vega, age 90, of Bridgeport, a native of Colombia, passed away into peaceful rest on Saturday, January 1, 2011 in Astoria Park Nursing Facility, Bridgeport, CT; Emma was a loving woman, full of life, care and love for everyone around her. She had an amazing personality who would touch each person she came into contact with. Truly a gem, truly a person who will be sadly missed by us all. Emma is the daughter of the late Jose M. Rivera and the Late Rosario Roa; She is survived by her sons Alejandro Plaza, Juan Carlos Plaza and Alerto Plaza all of Venezuela; Grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends with Special mention of Wanda Fontanez of Bridgeport who tended to Emma as her own and was truly a caring soul for her. Visitation for Emma will take place on Tuesday, January 4, 2010 from 5-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, ( la Funeraria de NUESTRO Pueblo ), 426 E.
