Obituary of William Vargas

William M. Vargas, age 24, of Bridgeport, a lifelong Bridgeport resident passed away on Monday, January 24, 2011 in Bridgeport Hospital while surrounded by his loving family. William was a vibrant young man, full of life who loved sports and loved being a Boxer for PAL. William was employed at AKDO as a supervisor and also a student at Housatonic Community Technical College. He is the son of William Vargas and Nancy DeJesus of Bridgeport; in addition to his parents he is survived by his grandmother Providencia Hernandez of Bridgeport; and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss him. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 beginning at 9:00 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (La Funeraria de NUESTRO Pueblo), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Charles Church; Interment will take place in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford, CT; Friends may attend calling hours on Monday, January 31, 2011 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
