Obituary of Alicia Soto

Alicia Soto, age 77, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of Alfredo Soto passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 in St. Vincent's Medical Ceneter while surrounded by her loving family. Alicia was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico before moving into the Bridgeport area many years ago. She is the daugher of the late Tomas Ortiz and the late Maria L. Rosado; Alicia was a loving woman who took care of everyone around her. She loved to cook and always be attentive to her family and all who visited her. In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughters Celia Phan and her husband Xuong N. Phan of Stratford, CT; Maria Lignore and her husband John Lignore of Shelton, CT, and Ada L. Heitman of Oswega, New York; her grandchildren Nicholas J. Lignore, Tomas V. Lignore, Brandon N. Phan & Hunter T. Heitman; and a host of sisters, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who will dearly miss her. Funeral Services have been scheduled for Saturday, October 9, 2010 beginning at 9:00 A.M. a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church , 505 Shelton Avenue, Shelton, CT; Interment will follow in ST. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford, CT. The Funeraria Luz de Paz ( la Funeraria NUESTRA), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport has been given the honor to provide final services for Alicia.
