Obituary of Lucila Rodriguez

Lucila Rodriguez, age 68, of Bridgeport, passed away into the eternal peaceful rest of the Lord on October 1, 2010 in Meriam Medical Center in Providence, Rhode Island. Lucila is a native of the Dominican Republic before moving to Providence, RI with her family. Lucila is the daughter of the late Ramon Satalesisis and the late Maria H Rodriguez; Lucila is the beloved wife of Luis Diaz whom she married over 17 years ago and he stood by her side throughout her health battles. In addition to her husband she is survived by her sons Daniel Santos, Juan J. Santos and Junior Santos; her daughters Marina Tavera, Jaquelina Santos, Maria de Los Angeles Santos and Gertrudys Santos; 23 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends who will sorely miss her. Funeral services have been scheduled for Wednesday, October 6, 2010 beginning at 9:00 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, ( la Funeraria NUESTRA), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT followed by a Mass of Chrsitian Burial in St. Charles Roman Catholic Church. interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport; Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 from 6-9 P.M. at the funeral home.
