Obituary of Josue Rivera

Mr. Josue Rivera, age 62, of Bridgeport passed into the eternal rest of the Lord on Monday, July 27, 2010 in his home while surrounded by his loving family. Josue was born in Salinas, Puerto Rico to Pedro Rivera and the late Alejandrina Ramos but had moved to Bridgeport since 1985. Josue was one of the Most faithful New York Yankees fan. In addition to his father he is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years Julia Justiniano of Bridgeport; his sons Tomas Rivera and Josue Rivera Jr.; daughters Betsy Rivera and Nancy Velez; fourteen grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him with broken hearts. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, July 15, 2010 from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, ( la Funeraria NUESTRA), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport; Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
