My Dad was very down to Earth. He had that... thing, that wherever he went, people just gravitated towards him. He was simple in the way he approached things; a natural humor that amused those that came in contact with him. He was very much liked by everyone, and I stand behind that statement with upmost certainty. Sadly, he left us too soon. Though his decline was fast, I'm grateful that it wasn't sudden. All of us in the family shared his final months reflecting and recognizing just how vital and precious his presence was in our lives, and though he would be missed, nothing could take away the years of fun and happy memories. That for me, it's the basis of life; not what was taken away, but what was left behind...Love you, Dad. Visit my dreams as you please.~ Josué Rivera Jr.
