Obituary of Jose Ortiz

Jose E. Ortiz, age 63, of Bridgeport passed away on Monday, Janauary 11, 2010 in St. Vincent's Medical Center. Jose is the son of the Late Felipe Ortiz and Andrea Vazquez. Jose was born in Yabocoa, Puerto Rico but had moved into the Bridgeport area at the early age of 2. He was a graduate of Bullard Havens Technical School as a Machinist. He was retired from Rolock, Inc., where he had been employed for 26 years. In addition to his mother he is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years Ada Ortiz of Bridgeport; One Son Phillip Ortiz; sister Estella Ortiz Bodnar; seven grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who will dearly miss him. In addition to his father he was predeceased by his son the Late Jose Ortiz Jr, daughter the late Andrea Ortiz and brother Phillip Ortiz, Jr.; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, January 14, 2010 from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E.
