Obituary of Aida Nieves

Aida Nieves, age 64 of Bridgeport, beloved wife of Rafael Nieves, of Trumbull, passed into a peaceful rest with the Lord on Monday, September 27, 2010 in St. Vincent's Medical Center; Aida is the daughter of Sebastian Fonseca of Florida and the late Tomitila Fonseca; Aida had been Employed for Many years with the City of Bridgeport Housing Authority before retiring. In addition to her husband and father she is survived by her daughter Myra DeLeon of Deltona, Florida; brother Sebastian Fonseca II of Bridgeport; her Sisters Eva Miranda of Bridgeport, Carmen Vasquez of West Haven, CT, Nilda Kessel of Largo, Florida and Jennie Fonseca of Shelton, CT; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her. Funeral services have beens cheduled for Saturday, October 2, 2010 beginning at 9:00 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, ( La Funeraria de NUESTRO Pueblo ), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Agustine's Cathedral; Interment will follow in Mt.
